At 6 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel in Musanze and transported to the park station, where the trek will begin. The trek last 2 to 4 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families. The terrain is challenging, featuring steep climbs and dense undergrowth, but the excitement of encountering these creatures keeps your spirits high. Eventually, you will reach a clearing, and there they are - the mountain gorillas. Observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat is a humbling experience. Watching them interact, play, and care for their young provides deep insight into their complex social structures and behaviors. You'll have a precious hour to observe and photograph them while maintaining a respectful distance. After your hour with them, you will begin the trek back to the park entrance, where you will receive a trekking certificate as a memento of your adventure. Finally, you will drive back to Musanze and return to your hotel. This marks the end of the tour.
