Early Morning - Authentic Batwa Experience Step into the living history of the Batwa, the forest's first people, whose lives were intertwined with the rhythms of nature long before gorilla conservation re-shaped their destiny. Once guardians of the Bwindi and Mgahinga forests, Today, they welcome visitors into their homesteads to share the traditions that defined their survival and spirit. Visit Peter's Organic Coffee Farm-nestled just outside Kisoro town. Guests may choose to enjoy lunch in town or savor a local cooking experience at the farm itself, where organic food pairs beautifully with the coffee story. This experiential tour takes you through the entire journey of coffee - "from garden to cup", learn how coffee seedlings are nurtured from the soil up, explore the growth cycle, from budding leaves to fruiting cherries, engage with farmers on manuring, budding, and eco-friendly practices, discover traditional methods of picking, drying, and preserving coffee beans.
