A one-day tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park begins early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in fortpotal and transfer for game drive across the ishasha plains, where herds of elephants, buffalo, and antelope graze while lions and hyenas patrol the savannah. The drive offers sweeping views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance, creating a rich backdrop to the wildlife encounters. By late morning, the journey shifts to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise, gliding past pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, and elephants cooling off along the shoreline. The waterway is alive with birdlife, from kingfishers darting across the surface to African fish eagles perched on branches. After lunch, the afternoon is dedicated to bird watching in the Mweya Peninsula and Maramagambo Forest, where over 600 species can be spotted, including flamingos, bee-eaters, and so many more before we embark on our journey to fortpotal whwere we shall dropyou off at your hotel.
