Day 1 Arrival at Entebbe and Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Likyadi Adventures guide who will assist with your transfer to your booked accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have lunch before checking in at ViaVia Entebbe Guesthouse, a comfortable budget hostel in the heart of Entebbe. You'll spend the rest of the day relaxing, preparing for your exciting safari adventure starting the next day.

Day 2 Transfer to Murchison Falls NP with Rhino Trekking at Ziwa Sanctuary

After breakfast, you will depart for Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola. Here, enjoy an hour-long guided rhino trekking experience, encountering these magnificent creatures up close. Following your safari-style lunch at the sanctuary, you will continue the journey to Murchison Falls. Once you reach the falls, you'll marvel at the breathtaking sight of the Nile squeezing through the 8-meter-wide gorge. You'll check into your Lodge inside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise

You'll start the day with an early morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. You will spot wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, warthogs, and a variety of antelope. After lunch and a short rest, you will embark on a Nile boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, where hippos, crocodiles, and elephants are commonly seen along the riverbanks. The day concludes with an evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Transfer to Kibale NP with Bigodi Wetland Walk

After breakfast, you will depart for Kibale National Park via scenic tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort Portal town for an en-route lunch. Upon arrival at Kibale, you will embark on a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetlands, home to 138 bird species and a variety of primates. You'll explore local communities for a coffee experience and witness banana-based crafts from the "Banana Man." You will return to Isunga Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale NP and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Early morning briefing at Kanyanchu Forest Headquarters precedes your chimpanzee trekking adventure, where you will observe chimps interacting in their natural habitat. After receiving your trekking certificate, you will have lunch before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy an evening game drive in the park, spotting elephants, lions, buffalo, and Uganda kobs. You check in at Enshama Game Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 Kasenyi Plains Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Cruise

You will begin with an early morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains, where wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalo roam freely. You will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7 Transfer to Bwindi NP with Batwa Community Visit

After breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving at your lodge in the afternoon. You will visit the Batwa community to learn about traditional hunter-gatherer life, their culture, and forest-based livelihoods. You will return to Rushaga Gorilla Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will head to the UWA visitor center for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure. You'll trek through dense rainforest and bamboo slopes, accompanied by experienced guides, in search of a mountain gorilla family. You will spend one hour observing these gentle giants before returning to the lodge. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge.

Day 9 Transfer to Volcanoes NP with Gorilla Guardians Village Visit

After breakfast, you will cross the Cyanika border into Rwanda, en route to Volcanoes National Park. After checking in at La Palme Hotel, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and the Gorilla Guardians Village to learn about gorilla conservation and local community life. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10 Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes NP and Transfer to Kigali

After your early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the Volcanoes National Park for a briefing about the dos and don'ts while with the Golden Monkeys. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water. The Golden Monkey Tracking Experience may take 3 to 4 hours, depending on where the Golden monkeys are in the forest. Once you have spotted them, you will spend one hour with them, where you will be able to ask as many questions as you want about their behaviour and also take as many pictures as you want.

Day 11 Kigali City Tour and Departure

After breakfast, you will enjoy a Kigali City Tour, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about the 1994 tragedy, and exploring the local handicraft markets. You will enjoy lunch in the city before being transferred to Kigali International Airport for your onward departure, taking home unforgettable memories of Uganda and Rwanda.
