Enjoy views of the Albertine Rift Valley and lush green scenery as you continue southwards towards western Uganda. A lunch stop will be made along the way before proceeding to Kibale Forest, home to a rich diversity of primates and tropical rainforest wildlife. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge surrounded by forest views and peaceful nature sounds. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge while preparing for the next day's chimpanzee trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, venture into the tropical rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzee families. Along the forest trails, enjoy sightings of other primates, including red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys, as well as colorful birdlife and unique forest vegetation. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, groom, communicate, and swing through the trees. Please note that chimpanzee trekking permits must be included in the tour cost. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading for an afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. During the cruise, enjoy close sightings of large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes bathing along the shoreline, and numerous bird species including pelicans, fish eagles, and kingfishers. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes of rolling hills, terraced farmlands, local villages, and the breathtaking scenery of southwestern Uganda often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa." En route, enjoy a relaxing lunch stop overlooking the magnificent Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa's deepest and most beautiful lakes surrounded by green hills and small islands. Take in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy memorable photography opportunities as you admire the stunning panoramic views. After lunch, continue with the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, arriving in the evening for check-in at your lodge. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, venture into the dense tropical rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
