Day 1 Kilimanjaro Trek – Machame Gate to Machame Camp (3020m)

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Arusha or Moshi to the Machame Gate (1800m). After registration and briefing with your trekking crew, you’ll start hiking through the lush montane rainforest. This trail is often damp and rich with vegetation, home to colobus monkeys and colorful birds. The path gradually ascends to Machame Camp, where you’ll spend your first night on the mountain.

Day 2 Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3840m)

Today is an important acclimatization day as you climb high and sleep low. The path leads you toward Lava Tower, a striking volcanic formation, where you’ll have lunch and rest briefly at high altitude. From there, you'll descend gradually into the Barranco Valley, known for its unique giant groundsels and lobelia plants. You’ll arrive at Barranco Camp, nestled beneath the Great Barranco Wall.

Day 4 Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp (4670m)

You'll begin the day with a steep scramble up the Barranco Wall, a thrilling and scenic highlight of the trek. Once at the top, you'll traverse undulating valleys before finally reaching the alpine desert zone en route to Barafu Camp, your base for the summit attempt. Rest, hydrate, and prepare for the midnight climb to the top of Africa.

Day 5 Summit Uhuru Peak (5895m) & Descend to Mweka Gate – Drive to Arusha

At around midnight, you'll begin your final push to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. The climb is steep and demanding, but the reward is watching the sunrise from the roof of the continent, a truly emotional and unforgettable moment. After reaching the summit, you'll descend via Stella Point and continue to Mweka Camp, then to Mweka Gate. After lunch and celebration, your driver will transfer you back to Arusha for a well-earned rest, dinner, and relaxation. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at The Charity Hotel Mid-range hotel located in Arusha (City) (3 meals).

Day 6 Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast and recovery, you'll drive approximately 2 hours (120 km) southwest to Tarangire National Park. The park is known for its towering baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and massive elephant herds. You'll enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch, spotting predators and antelope along the Tarangire River. In the evening, you will continue to Karatu for an overnight at a cozy lodge near the Ngorongoro highlands. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge (3 meals).

Day 7 Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll enter the heart of Tanzania’s safari country. You'll drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the vast plains of Central Serengeti. This region is famous for its year-round wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and migrating herds. En route, you'll enjoy multiple game drives before arriving at your safari camp in the Serengeti for overnight relaxation. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ang’ata Serengeti Camp (3 meals).

Day 8 Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti National Park

You'll spend the day exploring the endless golden plains of Central Serengeti, where wildlife abounds. Morning and afternoon game drives will maximize your chances of spotting the Big Five and observing dramatic predator-prey interactions. Depending on the season, you may witness portions of the Great Migration or find large lion prides basking in the sun. You'll enjoy a sundowner at camp in the evening. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ang’ata Serengeti Camp (3 meals).

Day 9 Final Game Drive & Drive to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, you will enjoy a short morning game drive as you exit Serengeti National Park. You'll continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro highlands, with a stop at a Maasai boma or crater viewpoint if time allows. You'll arrive in the late afternoon and settle in at a lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater Rim, with breathtaking views over the world’s largest intact caldera. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp (3 meals).

Day 10 Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Flight to Zanzibar

You'll rise early for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, explore the floor of this volcanic caldera, home to rhinos, elephants, lions, flamingos, and more. After a 4–5 hour game drive and picnic lunch near a hippo pool, you'll transfer to Lake Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, we'll transfer you to your beachfront resort and unwind. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sunset Kendwa Hotel (BB).

Day 11-13 Zanzibar Beach Relaxations and Option Activities

You'll spend your days unwinding on Zanzibar’s powder-white beaches. Zanzibar is a tropical paradise known for its white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and rich Swahili culture. It's the perfect place to unwind after a safari, offering peaceful beachside relaxation, fresh seafood, and stunning ocean views. You can take leisurely walks along the shore, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or simply relax under the palm trees.
