On arrival in Rwanda, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Kigali International Airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where you will check in and have the opportunity to relax for the remainder of the day. Dinner and overnight at Chez Lando Hotel.

Day 2 Visit Genocide Memorial Site | Transfer To Volcanoes National Park | Visit The Dian Fossey Center

After breakfast, we will drive back to Kigali and begin a city tour, stopping first at the Genocide Memorial Site, which provides a brief history of Rwanda. Following the city tour, we will drive northwards to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival in Musanze, you will visit the Dian Fossey Center. Lunch will be provided on the way, after which you will visit a nearby village to experience Rwandan culture, including traditional dance performances. Dinner and overnight at Classic Resort Lodge.

Day 3 Golden Monkey Trekking In Volcanoes National Park | Transfer To Lake Kivu

After breakfast, you will gather at the park headquarters in the morning with your trekking gear and drinking water for a briefing before ascending into the forest to track the golden monkeys. During the golden monkey trekking experience, you will discover fascinating facts about these unique primates, adding to the richness of your Rwanda tour. After lunch, you will be driven to Lake Kivu, which borders Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Upon reaching the lake, you will enjoy the rest of your evening at the lakeside, taking in the serene surroundings. Dinner and overnight at Nirvana Heights Resort & Spa.

After breakfast in the morning, you will have the option to either go kayaking or take a boat ride on Lake Kivu. Afterwards, you will drive back to Kigali for your scheduled flight to Uganda. On arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Jet Villas Entebbe.

Day 5 Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park | Rhino Tracking | Top Of The Falls Tour | Game Drive

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking, this is one of the unique activities in Uganda, the pearl of Africa. Second only to elephants when it comes to bulk among African land mammals, white rhinos are intimidating creatures, as you'll see for yourself when you track them in Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch. After the Rhino Tracking, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park. Your first tourist attraction in the park is the top of the falls. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevice below. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows Then you will go on an evening game drive in the lovely park. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 6 Morning Game Drive | Boat Cruise | Birding | Evening Game Drive

Embark on an early morning game drive on the northern bank, where your guide will help you spot a great number of animals and birds. Other activities in this game drive include bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland, and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert deltas. After lunch, you will embark (between 2pm and 4pm) on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile. This boat cruise offers an amazing view of the falls from the bottom. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river. Safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls. You'll marvel at toothsome hippos and crocodiles. Over the 17-kilometer stretch, you may also see elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs. This area is also home to many bird species. In the evening, enjoy another game drive to spot any animals you might have missed during the morning drive. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 7 Transfer To Kibale National Park | Bigodi Walk

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park. You will leave Murchison Falls, driving southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the western Great Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and the Kyejonjo district en route to the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal. Fort Portal is capital of the Tooro kingdom and is situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori. On arrival, you will head out to visit the Bigodi Swamp. This is a beautiful area in the rainforest with an abundance of animals like monkeys, birds, and maybe forest elephants. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp (Safari Tent).

Day 8 Chimpanzee Trekking |Transfer To Semuliki National Park | Visit Hot Springs

Today's chimpanzee tracking starts early and takes about two to three hours, depending on the chimps' location. After the trek, you will return to the resort for lunch and then drive to Sempaya Hot Springs, which are the main attraction of this park and the highlight of our safari. At the springs, you will witness water boiling itself using natural forces. The strength and heat of the springs are amazing. One can boil eggs and matooke (a type of banana) in a few minutes, making them ready to eat. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp (Safari Tent).

Day 9 Transfer To Fort Portal | Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves | Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding explosion crater lakes. This makes for an interesting day adventure and can be done while staying in Fort Portal. The side-trip to the Amabere Caves and the crater lakes will involve hiking and learning about the local culture and legends. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will go on a boat drive. In the evening, you'll enjoy a game drive to spot some of the "Big Five" (lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes) and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at The Bush Lodge (Banda).

Day 10 Visit Ishasha Sector | Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park | Cultural Visit

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth. Buffalo, elephant and various antelope are likely to be seen in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, but the focal point of our visit will be locations favored by its legendary tree-climbing lions. After the game drive, we move to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Friends Resort.

Day 11 Gorilla Trekking | Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi | Optional Activities

After breakfast, you'll depart with packed lunches in hand for the park headquarters alongside your guide. Here, you will receive a briefing about the do's and don'ts of gorilla trekking. Your gorilla trekking adventure will take you through the misty rainforest. The trek can last between 2-6 hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants. Be sure to carry sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, rain jackets, and enough water. After this long and exciting adventure, you'll return to the lodge to freshen up. You will then be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, a picturesque site characterized by the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across its surface. Day 12 Optional Activities | Equator Stopover | Transfer To Kampala

Along the way, you will stop at the equator in Masaka, where you can marvel at the imaginary line that divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Day 13 Last Day In Uganda | City Tour Of Kampala | Transfer To The Airport | Fly To Kenya

After breakfast, you will embark on a tour of Kampala, which is Uganda's capital city. We will have lunch at one of the restaurants in town and then proceed to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kenya. On arrival in Kenya, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Day 14 Transfer To Lake Nakuru National Park | Game Drive

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park. On your arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, you will check in at your hotel for lunch and then head out for a game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for being an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo, and baboons are also residents here. Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya's renowned soda lakes and is world-famous for attracting millions of flamingos to its alkaline shores. You'll witness the legions of fuchsia-pink flamingos feeding on the abundant algae that grows in the warm and shallow waters, which is a sight to behold. You will go for an evening game drive to explore the park further. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 15 Morning Game Drive In Lake Nakuru National Park | Transfer To Masai Mara National Reserve

Day 16 Hot Air Balloon Safari (Optional Activity) | Full Day Game Drive In Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you will spend the whole day in the park with a packed lunch in search of its well-known predators and their opponents like the zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos and other animal species. The price of the hot air balloon is US$485 per person payable with us before the safari. It can be organized early in the morning on this day, then proceed with the normal program. We strongly recommend that you book an air balloon safari in advance to secure your place. There is limited capacity, and this exclusive adventure is frequently fully booked.
