Day 1 Drive Addis to Awash

You will be picked from where you stayed and begin your journey to Eastern Ethiopia, Awash National park, situated in the Rift valley. This park is home to a diverse range of plains wildlife and offers tremendous bird watching opportunities, with over 400 species recorded here. While you are passing through the Awash National Park you may encounter some of the wild animals including Beisa Oryx, Hamadryas baboon, ostrich, Salt's dik-dik, and Soemmering's gazelle. Check in to the Doho Lodge and relax. Later in the day, you will have a game drive at the Aledeghi Wildlife Reserve which you may get a chance to see some of the wild animals Grevy‟s Zebra and Wild Ass, Gerenuk, Salt‟s Dikdik and Warthog.

Morning you will walk around and watch the beautiful birds and enjoy the hot spring pool in the Doho Lodge. In the afternoon you will drive back to Addis sightseeing visiting en-route one of the Afar villages that are known for their camel caravans. Later in the day, we will drop you where you will stay overnight.
