Mikumi NP
Mikumi National Park is located near Morogoro and is the fourth-largest national park in Tanzania. Its open landscapes are often compared to the Serengeti, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The northwest area features the vast Mkata floodplain, home to a variety of animals and surrounded by savannah dotted with acacia, baobab, and tamarind trees. The southeastern part of the park is more remote, less accessible, and supports fewer wildlife species.
