2-Day Hawassa, Dorze Village & Arba Minch Adventure

Your adventure begins at 5:00 AM as we drive south through the beautiful Rift Valley toward Hawassa. After a scenic 5-hour journey, enjoy lunch by the lake, followed by a peaceful walk through Hawassa Public Park to admire birdlife, lakeside views, and local activities. A short boat trip on Lake Hawassa lets you experience the calm waters and watch fishermen in action. We continue to Arba Minch with a cultural stop at the renowned Dorze Village. Explore their traditional beehive-shaped bamboo houses, learn how they prepare enset (false banana), and watch skilled weaving demonstrations. Enjoy panoramic views of the Guge Mountains and discover the rich traditions of the Dorze people before descending to Arba Minch for the evening.

After breakfast, we begin our exploration of Arba Minch's natural treasures. Start with a relaxing walk through the lush forest of Nech Sar National Park toward the famous Forty Springs. Surrounded by giant fig trees, monkeys, and vibrant birdlife, this area offers peaceful nature trails, fresh air, and beautiful photo opportunities. Next, enjoy a scenic 2-hour boat trip on Lake Chamo, one of Ethiopia's richest wildlife lakes. Here you can spot large groups of hippos, giant Nile crocodiles, pelicans, and other birds as you cruise across the open waters with mountain views all around. After completing the activities, we return to your hotel, and the tour concludes in the afternoon with your flight back to Addis Ababa.
