2-Day Kibeho Rwanda Holy Land Pilgrimage Safari

Pick up at 6:30 AM and transfer to Kibeho. Kibeho is a small town in South-Western Rwanda that is known as a "Holy Land" because of the virgin Mary apparitions that took place there in 1981. The apparitions were seen by three young girls and they are believed to have been a message of peace and hope for the people of Rwanda and beyond. This tour gives you an opportunity to explore Kibeho and learn about its history and significance to the Catholic Faithful and other communities at large. You will visit sites such as the Basilica of 'Our Lady of Sorrow', the shrine of 'Our Lady of Kibeho', the statue of 'the Lady of Kibeho', and Nyarushishi Hill. You will also have the opportunity to meet with local people and learn about their experiences with the apparitions. This tour is a great way to learn about the history, culture, and religion of Rwanda. It is also a great way to experience the beauty of Rwanda's countryside. Lunch in Kibeho and drive back to Huye, dinner and overnight in Huye.

Breakfast and departure from your Hotel at 8:30 AM and proceed with transfer back to Kigali. En route stop for visits at the National Ethnographic Museum, King's Palace Museum and lunch there. Afternoon drive to Kigali and visit to Nyamata and Ntarama Genocide Memorials. Evening drop off at your Hotel or Airport- End of the tour and our services.
