2-Day Luxury Tour from Zanzibar to Nyerere All-Inclusive

Today, our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your flight departing at 0700am to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival at 0825am, you will begin your journey to Selous Game Reserve with our experienced driver and tour guide. In the late afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive back to your lodge, taking in the beautiful sunset over the reserve before settling in for the evening. The Selous Game Reserve, now renamed Nyerere National Park, is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 km² (19,000 sq mi) and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature. Some of the diverse wildlife of the miombo include the African bush elephant, south-central black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, lion, African wild dog, African buffalo, Masai giraffe, plains zebra, and Nile crocodile.

Before breakfast, start a Sunrise game drive from 07:20 am to 8:00 am. Later after breakfast from your accommodation, start the drive again and enjoy a full-day game drive by a modified safari vehicle with a professional guide. Great animal sightings include all the favourites such as lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and zebra. You will also see all the other major species, including the now rare African wild dog, and a large variety of birds. Appreciate the wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. In the afternoon, you'll have lunch and proceed with the game drive for the rest of the day. Start the drive to Kiba Airstrip to catch a flight back to Zanzibar at 4:00 pm. Our driver will take you to the hotel.
