Mikumi National Park is Tanzania's fourth–largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. It covers 3,230km² (1,250mi²) and is set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Day 1 Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel or the ferry and drive you to the SGR station for your train to the Morogoro region, which will take approximately one to two hours. Upon arrival, our driver-guide will take you to Mikumi National Park for a late morning game drive until the afternoon. After lunch, you will have time to relax before continuing with the afternoon to evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at bandas inside the national park. Activities: Game drive Accommodation: Bandas Meals: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2 Morning to Afternoon Game Drive and Transfer back to Dar es Salaam

You will go on an early morning to afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park, and return to the cottage for lunch. Afterward, you will start driving from Mikumi to Morogoro to take the train, which departs at 4:00 pm to Dar es Salaam. On arrival, you will be dropped at the hotel or the airport for your flight to Zanzibar or back home.
