2-Day Mombasa to Tsavo West Private Tour

You will be picked up by our driver-guide from your coastal hotel in Mombasa. You'll drive along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, heading to Tsavo West National Park. You will have a stopover for en-route snacks as you proceed to the park. On arrival, you'll go for wildlife viewing to watch animals roaming the plains of Tsavo West. You will return to check in at your booked camp or lodge, freshen up, and settle for a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, you will head out of the lodge for an afternoon wildlife viewing in the park, watching animals such as Cape buffalo, elephants, leopards, and maned lions. Other animals that can be spotted in the park include the bush baby, wild dogs, hartebeest, lesser kudu, impalas, Masai giraffes, gazelles, elands, hyrax dik-diks, mongoose and Burchell’s zebra, including a visit to the rhino sanctuary where you will watch at a closer range of the eastern black rhinos. You will return to our camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have an early morning game drive to capture predator activities at dawn. You will enjoy a magnificent sunrise through the beautiful scenery of roaring hills and towering escarpments. This drive will also take you to the Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water is collected through underground streams of Mount Kilimanjaro. This is an important biodiversity area that supports life not only in Tsavo but also in the larger coastal area, since it is the main water supply for Mombasa. You will return to the lodge for breakfast with an en-route game drive. In mid-morning, you will drive back to Mombasa, arriving in the evening.
