2-Day Saadani Wildlife Safari by the Ocean

6:00 am– Pick-up from your hotel/residence You'll depart early from Dar es Salaam with your private driver-guide. You'll enjoy the landscapes as you head north along the coast. You'll arrive at Saadani National Park, check in at the gate, freshen up briefly, and enter the park. The road opens into wide savannahs and coastal forests — home to giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, and antelopes. Your guide will navigate through the park's rich habitats. Keep an eye out for elephants near the mangroves and lion tracks along sandy trails. At 13:30 afternoon enjoy lunch packed at the picnic site near the Wami River In the late afternoon, head out for a short game drive or walk along the beach. The sun sets over both land and sea — a moment you won’t forget. At 6:30 pm, you'll check in at Saadani Bandas and freshen up. At 7:30 pm, you'll enjoy dinner with the sounds of nature surrounding you. Before or after dinner, your guide will briefly recap the day's sightings and explain tomorrow's plan.

At 6:30–8:00 am, you'll enjoy a boat safari along the Wami River. You'll glide quietly on the river as hippos bathe, crocodiles bask on the banks, and fish eagles fly overhead. This is one of the most peaceful ways to start a safari day. At 8:30 am, you'll return from the boat trip and enjoy a full breakfast by the beach. At 10:00 am, you'll check out and begin your return journey to Dar es Salaam. Afternoon, around 1:30 pm, you will stop at Bagamoyo for a simple lunch en route. You'll arrive in Dar es Salaam and be dropped off at your preferred location. You'll end the tour with unforgettable memories.
