2-Day Safari from Zanzibar-Dar-Es-Salaam to Mikumi

You'll begin your adventure with an early morning hotel pick-up in Zanzibar, followed by a transfer to the boat for your safari to Dar es Salaam, arriving around 7:00 am. Then, you'll transfer by train from Dar-es-salaam to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, you'll meet your safari guide and journey in a 4×4 safari vehicle along the scenic Morogoro–Mbeya Highway toward Mikumi National Park, a drive of approximately 5–6 hours. You'll stop en route for a picnic lunch or dine at a local restaurant before reaching the park. After completing entry formalities, you'll enjoy your first game drive through Mikumi’s rich wildlife zones. By late afternoon, you'll check in at your accommodation at Mikumi Adventure Lodge, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by nature.

You'll start your day with an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, the perfect time to witness wildlife at its most active. Afterward, you'll return to your lodge or camp for a hearty breakfast before heading out for another game drive through the park’s expansive savannahs, continuing until around noon. You'll exit the park and begin your return to Zanzibar. In the early evening, you'll go back to Zanzibar, arriving in time for dinner and a relaxing evening at your hotel.
