2-Day Short Stay Masai Mara Safari - Midrange

05:00 hrs. – Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or Nairobi airport. Hop into the vehicle for your journey to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular wildlife park. Watch the dawn break over the fields from the comfort of your safari vehicle. We’ll make a stop at the town of Narok to stretch your legs and grab some snacks. As we continue to the Mara, you’ll see local homesteads and perhaps Maasai herdsmen in their colorful wraps, tending to their cattle. We should arrive at the park at approximately 10:30 hrs. Have early lunch at the hotel then proceed for a game drive till sunset.

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city. If guests choose to visit the Masai cultural village, our guide will drive them there and enjoy the cultural visit at their own cost ($30pp) On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “. You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour inclusive of a three-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost) OR drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your back home.
