2-Days Rwanda Gorilla Encounter & Volcanoes National Park Adventure

Your private guide and 4WD vehicle will pick you up from your Kigali hotel. Begin the journey with a moving visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, paying tribute to victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Afterward, drive northwest through Rwanda's scenic countryside for approximately 2.5 hours to reach Volcanoes National Park, a region famed for Dian Fossey's research on mountain gorillas. Arrive in time to relax at your lodge near the park. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or similar.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Kinigi Park Headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. You'll be assigned to a gorilla family and guided by expert trackers into the lush rainforest. Trekking duration varies depending on the gorillas' location, but once found, you will have one magical hour to observe them closely in their natural environment. Following this experience return back to Kigali and your driver guide will drop you off at your planned hotel in Kigali or at the airport targeting for your outbound flight marking the end of your remarkable wildlife adventure.
