3-Day Awash National Park, Safari, Wildlife, Ethiopia

Depart Addis Ababa in the morning and drive east through the scenic Rift Valley. Arrive at Awash National Park after lunch and check into your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive through the park, searching for Beisa oryx, Soemmerring's gazelles, warthogs, olive baboons, and various bird species. Later, visit the dramatic Awash Falls where the Awash River plunges into a rocky gorge. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, spend the day exploring different sections of the park. Morning and afternoon game drives offer excellent opportunities to observe wildlife and photograph the park's beautiful landscapes. Visit the nearby Doho Hot Springs, known for their natural thermal pools and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy birdwatching around wetlands and riverine forests where over 450 bird species have been recorded. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early morning game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak. After breakfast, depart the park and drive back to Addis Ababa. Along the way, enjoy views of the Ethiopian countryside and local villages. Arrive in Addis Ababa in the afternoon, marking the end of your memorable Awash National Park wildlife adventure.
