Your safari begins with a warm welcome from your professional guide in Kigali. After a short introduction and safari briefing, you will embark on a scenic drive through the rolling hills of Rwanda towards the Cyanika or Katuna border. Following border formalities, continue into Uganda with stunning views of the Virunga volcanoes and the lush countryside. The journey offers an excellent opportunity to learn more from your guide about the culture and landscapes along the way. In the afternoon, arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Check in at Bweza Gorilla Lodge, nestled on the edge of the forest, where you will relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere, preparing for the thrilling gorilla trek the next day. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Bwindi park headquarters for a full briefing on gorilla trekking. Today's adventure is the highlight of your safari - tracking the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Guided by experienced rangers, you will walk through dense tropical forest, across bamboo thickets and moss-covered slopes, listening to the calls of birds and monkeys. The trek may be physically demanding, but the moment you encounter a gorilla family is magical - watch the silverback lead, mothers care for their young, and juveniles play around. You will spend up to an hour observing and photographing these incredible creatures, creating memories that last a lifetime. Afterward, return for lunch before a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, Africa's second deepest lake with 29 islands. Its calm, bilharzia-free waters are safe for swimming, the perfect refresh after trekking. Check into your lodge and enjoy the serene lakeside.
Day 3 Lake Bunyonyi - Kigal

Wake up to the peaceful songs of birds over Lake Bunyonyi, often called "the lake of a thousand birds." After breakfast, set out to explore some of its famous 29 islands, each with a story to tell - ranging from traditional folklore to rich cultural history. You will enjoy a canoe or boat ride, gliding across the calm waters while admiring terraced hillsides and spotting various bird species. Along the way, visit local communities on the islands to learn about their way of life, traditions, and crafts, creating a warm cultural exchange. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for your journey back to Rwanda. Enjoy the scenic drive through the rolling highlands before crossing the border and continuing to Kigali, where your safari concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
