You will start your Ethiopia Rift Valley tour in Addis Ababa, descending into the floor of the Great Rift Valley, a world-famous tectonic formation created by the separation of the African and Arabian plates. You stop at Lake Ziway, a freshwater lake abundant with birdwatching opportunities, and observe productive fisheries. Its nutrient-rich waters support both resident and migratory birds. You will continue to Lake Langano, a safe, bilharzia-free lake perfect for swimming. The mineral-rich waters and acacia woodland surroundings reflect the Rift Valley's volcanic history. Relax, swim, and enjoy the serene lakeside environment.
Day 2 Lake Langano - Abijatta-Shalla National Park - Hawassa

You will witness geothermal vents and hot springs shaped by the Rift's tectonic activity. You will continue to Hawassa, a lakeside city on Lake Hawassa. Day 3 Hawassa - Wondo Genet Geothermal Springs & Ziway Winery to Addis Ababa
