3-Day Guided Mikumi Safari from & Back to Zanzibar

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the ferry terminal for the first ferry to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will meet your safari driver-guide and begin a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park, which takes approximately five hours. On arrival in Mikumi, you will check in at Mikumi Resort and have some time to relax before heading out in the evening to visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience. After the visit, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive inside Mikumi National Park, where you will have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many bird species. A hot lunch will be served at a restaurant inside the park, after which you will continue with the game drive until sunset. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out from your accommodation and begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will take the last ferry to Zanzibar, where a driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel, marking the end of your safari experience.
