3-Day Kibeho Spiritual Pilgrimage: 45 Years of Marian Apparitions

At 7 a.m., your professional driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel or at the airport. He will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a sign marked "Attractive Safaris." After greeting you and presenting the program for your pilgrimage, he will drive you straight to Kibeho. After lunch, pending confirmation, meet and speak with the Father Shrine Rector or with the visionary (Nathalie Mukamazimpaka). After breakfast, from 8:00-9:00 a.m.: discover the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, pray at the apparition site, the Chapel of Adoration 9:00 a.m.: Sacrament of Reconciliation 10:00 a.m.: Rosary of the Seven Sorrows 11:00 a.m.: Solemn Mass on the esplanade of the Shrine After Mass, lunch at your accommodation After lunch, visit CANA: Marian Formation Center of the Marian Fathers in Kibeho-Nyarushishi, 2 km from Kibeho Sanctuary, and pray while contemplating the statue of Divine Mercy. Since 2004, a giant bronze statue of the Merciful Jesus, weighing 2 tons and measuring 16 feet high, has been located in Nyarushishi at the Marian Formation Center of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. This statue has a wonderful story to discover. Since then, a visit to Nyarushishi has become a must for pilgrims coming to Kibeho. After morning Sunday Mass and breakfast, drive back to Kigali. On the way, visit the ethnographic Museum of Butare. It is believed that this museum is one of the most Africa's finest ethnographic collections, artistic, and artifacts accompanied by visual aids, giving visitors a rich insight into the culture of Rwandans. After lunch in Butare town, drive to Nyanza and visit Rukari King's palace for monarchs and learn more about the diversity of Rwandan culture and lives in the past years. Then, head to Kigali.
