3-Day Kilimanjaro Hiking Adventure to Horombo Hut

The adventure begins with an early transfer from Moshi to the Lemosho Glades trailhead. You will hike through lush montane rainforest, witnessing diverse flora and fauna as the trail gradually ascends. The day ends upon arrival at Mandara Hut, where you will settle in for the evening at the comfortable mountain hut, enjoying dinner and resting in preparation for the next day's climb.

Begin with a morning trek as the forest gives way to moorland and alpine vegetation. The trail offers expansive views towards Kilimanjaro’s summit and the surrounding plains. By afternoon, you arrive at Horombo Hut, your base for the night, where you can relax and acclimatize at this well-established mountain hut situated in a stunning high-altitude environment.

Start very early to tackle the summit section, ascending towards Gilman's Point on the crater rim. This challenging hike rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views across the glaciers and vast plains. After reaching the point, you begin a gradual descent back past Horombo Hut, continuing down through the varied landscapes to the trailhead. From there, you will transfer back to Moshi, marking the end of this high-altitude trek.
