Day by Day

Day 1 Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning 🏨Pumba Safari Cottages Mid-range lodge located just outside Kyambura Gorge (Chimps) 🍽Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Your 3-day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari will begin with one of our expert drivers who will double as your guide, picking you up from any location within Kampala. You will then set off for the Western region - the park is approximately 400 kilometers by road, south-west of Kampala. Your journey to the park will not be a boring one; you will stop briefly at the equator in Kayabwe, along the Kampala - Masaka road. You will have the chance to do several experiments to prove that the imaginary line that divides the world into two halves lies in that place. Before checking in at your lodge later in the evening, you will embark on your first game drive along the channel drive circuit, following the Northern shore of the Kazinga channel. This section of the park is one of the few places in Africa where the rare giant forest hog, among other mammals, is frequently sighted.
Day 2 Game Drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Morning 🏨Pumba Safari Cottages Mid-range lodge located just outside Kyambura Gorge (Chimps) 🍽Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
The second day of your Queen Elizabeth National Park safari will begin with a game drive after an early breakfast. You will head out to the renowned Kasenyi plains. The plains are a mass of African savannah known for harboring the largest concentration of game as compared to any other section in the Park. You will head back to your lodge in the early afternoon to have lunch and a brief rest before going for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The launch cruise along the channel is one of the most popular safari activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You get to sit back and enjoy the sight of elephants, buffalo, bushbucks, kobs, and large herds of hippos on the riverbanks. Occasionally, you'll be able to spot leopards, lions, and forest hogs. Besides the various mammals, the channel is a habitat for various species of water birds. After the boat cruise, you can embark on a nature walk before retiring to your lodge for the night.
Day 3 Drive back to Kampala
Morning 🏨No accommodation 🍽Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
On the last day of your Queen Elizabeth National Park safari, you will have an early breakfast and check out of your lodge. You will then embark on your journey back to Kampala, arriving in the afternoon. Your driver-guide will drop you at the desired location or take you to the airport if you have a plane to catch.
