Your adventure begins with pickup in Kigali, followed by a scenic drive through Rwanda's picturesque countryside to Volcanoes National Park. After a briefing by park rangers, set off on an exciting golden monkey trekking experience in the bamboo forests, where you'll observe these lively and endangered primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, enjoy stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes and, if time permits, visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo for spectacular scenery and photo opportunities. Later, continue to your comfortable lodge near the park to relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the cross-border journey into Uganda the following day.
Day 2 Cross into Uganda & Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Enjoy the scenic drive through rolling hills, terraced farms, and vibrant local communities before arriving at your lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing, taking in the tranquil forest surroundings, or exploring the nearby community and learning about local culture. As evening falls, enjoy dinner at the lodge and prepare for the unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking adventure awaiting you the following day.
Day 3 Gorilla Trekking, Tree Planting & Return to Kigali

Begin the day with an unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Accompanied by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, hike through the rainforest to meet one of the habituated gorilla families and spend a remarkable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, take part in a meaningful tree planting activity as your personal contribution to conservation and habitat restoration. Later, drive back across the Uganda - Rwanda border and continue to Kigali, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport, marking the end of your memorable cross-border safari.
