06:00: Depart from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, a drive of approximately 6 hours. 12:00: Arrive at Mikumi National Park and enjoy a picnic lunch. 01:00: Begin an afternoon game drive across the park. The Mikumi floodplain is the park’s main highlight, bordered by scenic mountain ranges. Wildlife commonly seen in this area includes lions, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and elephants. 18:30: Continue the game drive until sunset, then return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Full day in Mikumi National Park
