4-Day Gorilla and Wildlife Tour

Guests will be met on arrival at Entebbe International Airport or any other location of their choice in Kampala. From here the tourist will travel west with a stopover at Mpambire drum makers for some photoshoots and an informative talk prior to proceeding to Mbarara for lunch. After lunch, drive through the virgin rolling hills of Ankole - Kigezi to the home of Mountain Gorillas - Bw

After breakfast, your driver-guide will transfer you to an information center from where you will be briefed on the dos and don'ts while in the forest. The unique insight and knowledge of the ranger guide are sure to add to your experience and understanding of the habits and behaviors of the Mountain Gorillas. As you head into the forest, it may be silent at the first encounter but as you track, you will realize the jungle sound as you see various forest Flora and fauna. Walkthrough the dense forest tracks with great anticipation. Later head back to the lodge and relax as you prepare for a cultural visit to the Batwa community.

After an early breakfast check out from your lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth Park. Upon arrival check into your lodge and settle for lunch, relax, and later go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. This waterway joins Lakes Edward and George and it is filled with schools of hippos and buffaloes with elephants at the banks. After we drive to the Kasenyi plains for an evening game drive, you are likely to meet grazing hippos, elephants, lions, spotted hyenas and leopards, bushbuck, waterbuck, and stripped jackal, and of course several warthogs. Later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this day, after your early morning breakfast, check out and drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park as you enjoy a morning game drive spotting wildlife such as lions, elephants' leopards, hyenas, and many more that inhabit this park. After, return to Kampala via the Mbarara city route, making a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch, and lastly at the Equator for photography. Leave after photo taking, get back to Kampala or Entebbe to be dropped at the hotel or Airport.
