The 4 day Kidepo Valley Experience is a complete experience whereby you will meet the local people living around the national park and you will have more then enough time to be in the park as well. This tour is especially designed for people who do not have enough time for the full 6 day trip but really want to visit Kidepo. Please realize that the first and the last day are two FULL days of traveling.

Day 1 Transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park

You will leave at 06:30 AM from the airport in Entebbe or from Kampala. After a stop over in Gulu we will have lunch in Kitgum around 2 pm. After lunch it will be 2 more hours to Kidepo Savannah Lodge. Here you will be received by the friendly staff and you can check into your Safari tent.
Day 2 Morning game drive and afternoon game drive

Breakfast will be at 05.30 and at 06.00 exactly we will enter Kidepo Valley National Park. This park is known for its wide variety of animals, in fact it has the highest variety of big mammals in Uganda. There are huge herds of buffalo up to 3000 a herd! But it is not only the animals, the scenery alone is breathtaking, after the first game drive you will have lunch at the lodge. Around 3 pm you will continue the game drive.
Day 3 Morning Walking Safari and afternoon cultural village

The safari walk starts at 07.00 AM and takes about 3 to 4 hours. After the Walk you will have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon we will do a short village walk and visit a cultural village. In the village you will have the opportunity to buy localy fabricated arts and crafts.
Day 4 Back to Kampala or Entebbe

You will have breakfast at 6.00 AM and then you will start the journey back to Kampala. Lunch will be in between Gulu and Kampala. We expect to arrive in Kampala or Entebbe airport around 7PM.
