At 12:30 PM, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional dishes before continuing the journey. Arrive in Awassa around 02:30 PM and check in to your lakeside lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided boat ride on Lake Awassa, offering opportunities to spot hippos, pelicans, marabou storks, and other bird species, while enjoying scenic views of the surrounding highlands and lakeshore.

After breakfast, visit the lively Awassa Fish Market at around 09:00 AM.
