4-Day Mikumi NP & Nyerere NP Unforgettable Adventures

You will be picked up from the airport, hotel, or ferry and drive to Mikumi National Park, which is approximately a 6-hour drive. Stop in Morogoro for lunch and proceed to Mikumi National Park. On arrival in the park, you will immediately start an afternoon to evening game drive. You will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at Mikumi Bandaz. Activities: Transfer and evening game drive.

We'll have an early morning game drive in Mikumi. We will then have breakfast and drive to Selous (Nyerere National Park). On arrival, you will enjoy lunch and then start with an evening boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. You will discover the Rufiji River by boat and encounter hippos and crocodiles in good numbers. Some 350 species of birds have been recorded in Selous. These are typical of the Miombo woodlands, and the birdlife supported by the Rufiji swamp lands is particularly interesting. You will have dinner and overnight at Mloka Safari Lodge. Activities: Transfer from Mikumi to Selous and a boating safari.

After breakfast, you go for a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes in Selous. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the site the guide will select. After your picnic lunch and some relaxation, you continue the game drive until the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Mloka Safari Lodge.

Start the day with a morning walking safari, which takes around two and a half hours. Return to your camp and have breakfast. You will then relax a bit and enjoy the environment of the lodge. After that, drive back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home, the hotel, or the ferry to Zanzibar or Mafia Island.
