4-Day Mikumi NP to Selous GR, Game Drive + Boat Safari

Our driver will come to pick you up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at around 5:00 am for your transfer to Mikumi National Park that will take about 5 to 6 hours. At Morogoro, you will get a hot launch then do game drives until sunset. You will see a lot animals like elephant, lions, etc. After the game drive, you will be taken to Camp Bastian for dinner, sleep and preparations for the next day schedule.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked-up from your camp and driven to Nyerere National Park. There is a picnic lunch on the way. You will arrive there in the evening to embark on a boat safari. On your boat trip, you’ll spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Meals and your overnight will be offered at the lodge or camp.

On this day after breakfast from 7:30 am till evening, you will have a full game drive tour at Nyerere National Park formerly know as Selous Game Reserve. The journey will start from the lodge or camp where you will be taken by our professional drivers and guides. You will get to enjoy various tourist attraction like animals including elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and many more. Also, you will see birds and other landscape scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far off mountains. In afternoon, you will get your packed lunch and sometime to rest. Then continue with game drives until in the evening when you will return to camp or lodge for dinner, sleep and preparation for your last day.

On this day, you will get your morning tea then do a bushman walking tour in the forest accompanied with an armed ranger. After the walking tour, you will get back to Africa Safari Camp for breakfast. After that prepare to drive back to Dar es Salaam and on the way you will get time to eat lunch.
