4-Day Rwanda & Uganda Gorilla Adventure - Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi & Volcaesno

Your adventure kicks off with an early morning pick-up from Kigali, Rwanda, where our experienced guide will warmly welcome you. From there, you'll embark on a scenic drive through Rwanda's breathtaking landscapes, often referred to as the "Land of a Thousand Hills." As you journey towards Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, you'll be captivated by the rolling green hills, picturesque valleys, and dense forests that define this beautiful region. Along the way, you'll pass through charming villages, witness locals going about their daily routines, and perhaps catch a glimpse of wildlife in the surrounding countryside. Upon arrival in Musanze, you'll check in at your lodge, where you can relax and prepare for the unforgettable experiences that await in Volcanoes National Park

You'll start the day with an early breakfast before heading to Volcanoes National Park for a briefing on golden monkey tracking. The trek leads through bamboo forests, where expert guides help locate a habituated troop of these playful and energetic primates. You'll enjoy an hour watching them leap through the trees and forage for food. After the experience, you will return to the lodge to freshen up and check out. You'll begin the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through rolling hills, lush countryside, and local villages. You'll cross into Uganda and continue the journey towards Bwindi, known for its mountain gorillas. You will arrive at Bweza Gorilla Lodge, check in, and unwind in the serene rainforest setting, preparing for the next day's adventure.

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the dense rainforest with experienced guides. The trek leads through rugged terrain, following signs of a gorilla family. Along the way, you will encounter diverse flora and fauna, including monkeys and exotic birds. Upon finding the gorillas, you'll spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat, watching their interactions, feeding, and social behavior. You'll capture memorable photos while maintaining a safe distance. After the trek, we will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight stay at the Bunyonyi Eco Resort.

You'll start the day with a relaxing canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi, exploring its scenic islands and spotting various bird species. You'll enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding hills. There is also an option of a boat trip around the historic islands of Lake Bunyonyi After the canoeing experience, you'll check out from the lodge and begin the drive to Kigali. You'll pass through picturesque landscapes and border towns before arriving in Rwanda's capital. Depending on your schedule, you'll explore Kigali's cultural sites or proceed to the airport for departure.
