5-Day Midrange Safari to Nyerere & Mikumi

The journey will start at your accommodation during morning hours, where you will be picked up by a comfortable safari car and taken directly to Nyerere National Park. This journey will take a total of 5 hours to arrive in Nyerere National Park. After arrival. On arrival, you will check in at Selous Safari Lodge for lunch and a short rest. Thereafter, in the late afternoon, you will embark on a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you will spot crocodiles, hippos, large groups of birds, and other animals drinking water in the Rufiji River. After this unforgettable experience, you will be returned to Selous Safari Lodge for dinner and a night's stay.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will begin full day game view drive in Nyerere National Park with a packed lunch box from your accommodation. In Nyerere National Park, animals can be easily seen at all times of the day due to its dense population of all kinds of animals. In addition, the presence of a large number of water bodies makes Nyerere National Park a sanctuary for many species. Hence, you will continue with a full day game view until sunset, where you will be returned to your accommodation for dinner and a night stay (Selous Safari Lodge).

You'll start with an early morning cup of coffee, a walking safari until 9:00 am, then back to Selous Safari Lodge for a full breakfast. Thereafter, you will proceed with checking out at Selous Safari Lodge and start traveling to Mikumi National Park with a picnic lunch box that will be served on the way. After arrival at Mikumi National Park, you will check in at Camp Bastian Mikumi. Here, you can opt either to Visit Maasai Village or to take some rest at your accommodation, then dinner, and cover night stay at Camp Bastian.

Morning tea or coffee around 6:00 am to start the early morning game drive with a breakfast box that will be served within the park. The game drive will continue until the afternoon hours. Then, you will have lunch at Mikumi Bandas restaurant. Thereafter, you will continue with game view drive until sunset, when you will be returned to Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning, after a heavy breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and start travelling back to Dar es Salaam with a boxed lunch. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at any location within the city. (Airport transfer included on the same day).
