Leave Nairobi at 8:00 am and drive to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Maasai Mara for lunch at the lodge. This will be followed by an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara, famous for its black-maned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

You will have an early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within this vast world-famous reserve. The Maasai Mara is famous for its black-maned lions and the annual wildebeest migration. You will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the great migration when in season – July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. At the river, we’ll see hippos that are camouflaged in their natural habitat. We’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia.

After breakfast, depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift Valley. Arrive in the flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. We will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park, which will include visits to viewpoints that offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes, and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity, with flamingos (greater and lesser) and other waterbirds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals, including white rhinos and buffaloes, and a variety of terrestrial birds, numbering nearly 450 species.

We will depart early in the morning after breakfast and go towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is synonymous with 2 particular things – majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. On a clear evening, you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

This being a full day in Amboseli, you will have the option of a full-day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is home to great herds of elephants, and with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, it is a favorite spot for photographers. Also found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeests, buffaloes, gazelles, and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. During clear days, you may also view the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the tallest mountain in Africa. There is also a chance to visit the local communities in their nearby villages.

After breakfast, leave the lodge for the last game drive in the park as you leave Amboseli National Park for Nairobi with a picnic lunch en route. You'll be arriving in Nairobi late in the afternoon where you’ll be dropped off at the airport for your flight home or dropped off at your city hotel.
