6-Day Giants of Amboseli to Coastline Bliss

Arrive in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin your journey southward to Amboseli National Park, which takes about 4–5 hours by road. Amboseli National Park is famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. Evening game drive: Enjoy your first safari experience with a game drive to spot wildlife, especially elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. Overnight: Stay at a lodge/camp with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Morning game drive: Head out early for a game drive as the animals are most active during the early morning hours. Return to your lodge for breakfast. Mid-morning or afternoon game drive: You have another opportunity for a game drive, or you can visit a local Maasai village to learn about the local culture and tradition. Relax at the lodge with views of the mountain. If the weather permits, enjoy a photo session with the backdrop of Africa’s highest peak. Evening sundowner: A sundowner is a great way to end your day while watching the sun set behind the mountain. Overnight: Stay another night at your lodge in Amboseli.

Have breakfast, depart from Amboseli, and drive to Tsavo West. Tsavo West is known for its dramatic landscapes, volcanic hills, and the Mzima Springs, where you can view hippos and crocodiles in the clear spring water. Game drive: Enjoy a game drive in the park to spot the "red elephants" of Tsavo, lions, leopards, giraffes, and various bird species. Mzima Springs: If time allows, visit Mzima Springs for a refreshing stop and the chance to spot wildlife in the water. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy an early game drive before breakfast. Taita Hills: Head towards Taita Hills for a quick visit. The journey will take about 2 hours. Game Drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary: This area offers a more exclusive safari experience with fewer crowds. The sanctuary is home to the Big Five, with lions, elephants, and leopards being among the main draws. Overnight: Stay at a lodge within Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

Get up early for a last game drive in Taita Hills before checking out. Depart and drive to Tsavo East National Park at midday. It takes about 2 hours to reach Tsavo East from Taita Hills. Game drive: Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in Tsavo East. This park is one of the largest in Kenya, known for its vast landscapes, large herds of elephants, and predators like lions and cheetahs. Overnight: Stay at a lodge or camp inside Tsavo East.

Go on an optional early morning game drive in Tsavo East before breakfast and check-out. Transfer to Diani Beach by Train from Voi SGR train station, arriving at your beach resort in the afternoon. Relax and enjoy the sunset on the Indian Ocean coast.
