6-Day Mikumi, Udzungwa, Ruaha Safari and Maasai Visit

Our Adventure will start from Dar and drive to Mikumi National Park, this drive will take up to 5 hours. Arrive for lunch in Mikumi National Park then continue with the afternoon game drive until sunset. Expect to see, wildebeest, impala, zebra, and giraffe, hunted by their associated predators; easy to sport elephants, buffalos, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, and greater kudu.

Today we will do a half-day game drive in the afternoon we will drive to Udzungwa upon arrival we will check in the accommodation. The mountain guide will give a briefing for the hiking, feel free to walk around to meet with villagers, learn about their local activities like business in the street, learn their way of life, and go back to your accommodation to prepare for the next hike. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

After a nice breakfast, You will go to the start point and you will start trekking in this beautiful mountain enjoying and experiencing the stunning natural beauty of the Park. Picnic lunch in the bush then proceed to explore the area, you will get the access to wonderful Sanje waterfall stunning 170m. While hiking you will see different species of monkeys including endemic species of Sanje Crested Mangabey and Iringa Red Colobus Monkey. You will get the chance to swim in one of the waterfall plunge pools. After trekking you will go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

After a nice breakfast, we will drive to Ruaha National Park, We will have our Lunch at Iringa Town and then proceed to Ruaha, Arrive for afternoon game drives in the park looking for hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, reedbuck, and buffalo venture to the river’s edge to drink, attracting the attention of lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog, and jackal. There are many birds in the park including Eurasia migrants that come to visit the park twice a year. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Our day will start with a walking safari with the guidance of an armed ranger which will take two to three hours. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for the African wild. After walking safari you will go back to the banda for breakfast. After breakfast continue with a game drive In the afternoon we will visit the Maasai tribe in Tungamalenga for a cultural experience. then we will drive to Iringa for Dinner and overnight at Neema Craft.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast then start a transfer drive back to Dar es Salaam. Drop off at your hotel or airport for your next destination. Meal Plan: -Breakfast and Lunch. End of safari.
