6-Day Rwanda Gorilla, Golden Monkey Trekking & Lake Kivu Adventure

Depending on your landing time at the airport, our English/French-speaking staff/driver-guide will come to pick you up from the airport. Then, you'll drive to the Kigali City tour, where you will get a chance to explore and visit different sites of the city, such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the biggest local market in Kigali called Kimironko, Nyamirambo, where Kigali is the capital, and many more interesting sites for travelers. Then, a Lion Safaris driver-guide will choose the best restaurant in the city to have lunch. After enjoying lunch, you will drive to your booked hotel and check in for dinner and your overnight stay.

You will wake up in the morning and then have your breakfast. After that, our driver-guide will come to pick you up and then drive you to the Northern province of Rwanda, where Volcanoes National Park is located. On arrival, you will continue with check-in at your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, after your breakfast, with your packed lunch, our driver-guide will come to pick you up from the lodge and then drive you to the park headquarters, where you'll get a briefing about how to behave around mountain gorillas when you meet them in the habitat. Then, you'll proceed to trek gorillas. After the remarkable experience with the gorillas, the driver-guide will take you back to your lodge for a hot lunch. Afterward, you will continue with visiting twin lakes, which are Bulera and Ruhondo, with a driver-guide. After the lake enjoyment, he will bring you back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning, after your breakfast, a Lion Safaris driver guide will come to pick you up and drive you to the park office for golden monkeys registration and get a briefing about how to behave around golden monkeys when you meet them in their natural Habitat. On arrival by the start of walk point, you will walk into natural bamboo forest with a local guide all the way to the golden monkeys where you will enjoy them with taking many photos as you will need, then after that special moment you will walk down back to the driver-guide who will drive you straight to one of the best restaurants in Musanze town for lunch. After lunch, it will be the drive to Lake Kivu and check in to your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will wake up in the morning, have a late breakfast then our Lion Safaris driver-guide will come to pick you up. He'll drive you to Lake Kivu, where you will start the boat ride and get a chance to explore the lake with a visit to the thermal boiling water, birds, fishermen, different islands in the lake, and other sites of the lake. After that amazing time, our driver-guide will choose for you the best restaurant in Gisenyi/Rubavu town for lunch. After lunch, it will be the drive back to your hotel, then have an evening of relaxation and an overnight stay. If you need to continue with swimming, the driver-guide will suggest the safest point to swim. Then, you will be driven back later to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will wake up in the morning and get your breakfast. After that, you will check out, and then our driver-guide will come to pick you up. You'll go back to the capital of Rwanda, Kigali, where, depending on your flight time, you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel/home.
