7-Day Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Naivasha, Masai Mara Safari

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport, where your tour driver will provide a short briefing before departing for Samburu. The journey includes a stopover in Sagana or Isiolo town before continuing to Sarova Shaba for check-in, lunch, and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will set out on a game drive in Samburu National Reserve.

The day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in search of the Samburu Special Five — Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and Gerenuk, alongside other wildlife. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, you will head out again for an evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

After breakfast, you will check out of Sarova Shaba and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive and visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a renowned wildlife reserve dedicated to rhino conservation and home to the world’s last two remaining northern white rhinos, Fatu and Najin, as well as Baraka, the blind black rhino. The conservancy also hosts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for check-in, lunch, and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a scenic boat ride across the lake, where you are likely to spot hippos, a wide variety of bird species such as fish eagles and cormorants, as well as grazing wildlife along the shores. The excursion continues with a guided walk on Crescent Island, a private sanctuary that offers close encounters with giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, waterbucks, and impalas in their natural habitat. Later, you will return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, with a brief stopover in Narok Town. You will then proceed to Zebra Plains Mara, arriving in time for check-in and lunch. After a short period of relaxation, you will set out for an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara, often regarded as the highlight of a Kenyan safari, is famed for its breathtaking savannah landscapes, abundant wildlife, and as the setting of the Great Migration, one of the world’s most remarkable natural spectacles. In the evening, you will return to the camp before dusk for dinner and an overnight stay.

Highlights include the renowned Big Five — elephant, lion, rhinoceros, buffalo, and leopard, as well as giraffes, topis, zebras, wildebeests, and many others. In the evening, you will enjoy the breathtaking sight of the golden sunset over the horizon before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay. An optional walking safari is also available after the game drive for those seeking a more immersive experience.

After breakfast, you will check out of Zebra Plains Mara Camp. An optional visit to a Maasai Village in the Masai Mara can be arranged before your return journey to Nairobi, with a brief stopover in Narok. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will enjoy lunch at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant. Thereafter, your driver-guide will transfer you to your preferred drop-off location.
