Day 1 Pick up and Drive to Nyungwe National Park

You will have breakfast at your hotel in Kigali. Later, our driver-guide will come to pick you up, then drive you to Nyungwe forest. You will visit the Nyanza Royal Palace of Rwanda, and have lunch in one the the restaurants in the area. After lunch, the driver-guide will continue with the tourists all the way to check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Chimpanzees Trekking and Transfer to Cyangungu

After an early breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee trekking. Nyungwe is a vast, mountain rain tropical forest over 1000 sq km in size. It is home to 13 species of primates, over 275 species of birds, and 100 varieties of orchids. After trekking, you'll have lunch. Then, you will be driven to Cyangugu and check in at your booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Boat Ride at Lake Kivu and Transfer to Gisenyi

After breakfast, you will get on a boat from Cyangugu to Gisenyi. On the way to Gisenyi, you will get a good moment to explore and enjoy the best views of the lake up to Gisenyi. You'll have lunch on arrival, relax at the lodge, or visit the fishing villages. Later, you'll have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Drive from Gisenyi to Volcanoes National Park

You will wake up, have your late breakfast, and then a Lion Safaris driver-guide will drive you to Volcanoes National Park. On arrival, you will have lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy Ibyiwacu entertainment for Rwandan Culture, then wait for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5 Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

You will wake up and take your early breakfast, then the driver-guide will come to pick you up and head to the park headquarters to be briefed about the dos and don'ts while with the gorillas. Then, you'll proceed to track the gorillas. After the remarkable adventure with the gorillas, you will have lunch. Later, you'll visit the twin lakes, Bulera and Ruhondo, then come back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 Transfer to Akagera National Park

Early morning, you will wake up and then get your breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The driver-guide will come to pick you up and drive you to Akagera National Park. On arrival at the lodge, you will check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll go for a boat trip on Lake Ihema to see water birds, crocodiles, and hippos. Then, you will be dropped back to your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7 Full-Day Game Drive Viewings & Overnight Stay

You will wake up and then have your breakfast at your lodge. The driver-guide will come to take you on a full-day game drive. In the evening, you will come back to the lodge, then you get ready night game drive where you get a chance to spot nocturnal animals such as leopards, hyenas, jacals, and many more night animals. After enjoying that night's game drive, you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 Transfer back to Kigali

In the morning, after breakfast, you will check out, and then the Lion Safaris driver-guide will come to pick you up. Then, you'll begin your journey back to Kigali. He will drop you off at your hotel/home or at the airport to catch your flight back home End of Tour.
