This trip starts at about 6:30 am. You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi town, the drive takes about 120 minutes. When you arrive at Marangu gate, you will meet your professional Kitano Tours and safaris guide and register yourself, ready for climbing. At about 9:30 am, you will start the climb. During the day, you will climb up to Maudi Crater, which is about 3000 meters above sea level. In the middle of your day, you will enjoy a picnic lunch while admiring amazing views. The hike takes about 3 - 6 hours. Around 5 pm, you will be picked up at the gate and driven back to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha town. Prepare your hiking shoes, it's also good to wear something on your head to protect your face from sunburn. You should have a light backpack for your small things and drinking water.
