Start your day early with a 05:00 AM pick-up from your hotel on the mainland of Lake Bunyonyi. You'll be transferred to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, heading to the base of Mount Muhabura. After a safety briefing, begin your guided trek up this extinct volcano rising to 4,127 meters. The ascent offers panoramic views, a crater lake at the summit, and encounters with alpine vegetation. After the full-day trek (6 - 9 hours), descend and return to your lodge at Lake Bunyonyi by evening.
