Explore The Beauty of 2-Day Hike to Mount Kilimanjaro and Tarangire Safari

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning, after a quick briefing; you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro National Park's eastern entrance: Marangu Gate (1,860 m/6,046 f)). After the quick formality of registering the climbing permits and registering with the rescue service, the group will start trekking up to Mandara Hut (2,700 m/8,858 ft.). The trekking route includes a passage through the rainforest where tropical showers are highly probable, so we recommend taking raincoats. When you reach the camp, you will be provided with lunch boxes. After lunch, you can take a hike to the beautiful Maundi Crater nearby. It will take about 30 minutes, after which you will start your descent down to the exit of the park - Marangu gate. Our driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel in the town of Arusha (Arusha Planet Lodge). Estimated Driving distance: 2.5 Hrs. In the morning after breakfast from your hotel. Your driver-guide will pick you up at 7:30 Am, you will drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes. Full day game drive viewing a herd of elephants, Leopards, Zebra, Lions, antelopes, Oryx and many more animals. We will also explore the Tarangire River, the river provides refuge for the wild animals in the park. Later in the day we will drive back to Arusha and drop you off at your hotel in Arusha which marks the end of this trip (If you will require airport transfer we can arrange this service at extra cost).
