Your day starts with a 6:00 AM pickup from Moshi or Arusha, followed by a 3½-hour drive to Londorossi and on to the Lemosho trailhead. After a safety briefing, begin your hike through deep montane forest where colobus monkeys leap overhead and the air smells of wild herbs. Depending on your pace, reach Mti Mkubwa Camp (Big Tree Camp) or hike further to enjoy elevated views of the western slopes. A hearty picnic lunch is served in the forest clearing before a gentle descent. Return to Arusha by sunset, enriched by a true Kilimanjaro encounter.
