Uncover 2-Day Arusha National Park and Lake Duluti Tour

Arusha National Park has a rich variety of wildlife, but visitors shouldn't expect the same game-viewing experience they find in other national parks of Tanzania's northern circuit. Despite the small size of the park, common animals include giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingo, elephant, bushbuck and many other African animals. Leopard populations are present, but rarely seen. Birdlife in the forest is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here than elsewhere on the tourist route - Narina trogon and bar-tailed trogon are both possible highlights for visiting birders, whilst the range of starling species provide somewhat less gaudy interest.

Rise and shine, in the morningf after breakfast at Arusha Parrot Hotel, our driver will pick there and then transferred to Lake Duluti for amazing activities. Lake Duluti is a volcanic crater lake in the Arusha region of Tanzania, on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley. It is located in Meru District near the town of Tengeru and is 14 kilometres (14 km) from Arusha city centre and 1.31 kilometres from the Arusha-Moshi road. The natural forest roundabout the lake is teeming with wildlife including blue monkeys, snakes and lizards; different bird species including grey herons, fish eagles, cormorants, ospreys and kingfishers. The Reserve has variety of different tree species.
